Blizzard warning in effect
Strong winds and heavy snow that fell overnight in Salluit are having a big impact on the community. Kangiqsujuaq and Quaqtaq are are being affected by the same weather system that is affecting the region. The weather will improve on Wednesday.

Salluit - Raglan Lake issued
Blizzard conditions will affect these communities today and overnight tonight.
A mass of Arctic air continues to affect Extreme Northern Québec. The combination of moderate winds and cold temperatures will result in extreme wind chill readings until midday at least in several communities along Ungava Bay.
In addition, a disturbance approaching from Baffin Island will bring some snow and will maintain strong winds along the shore of Hudson strait. As a result, visibility will be greatly reduced in blowing snow from Salluit to Quaqtaq.
