  2. They should move Nunavik house to a more family oriented neighborhood.

  3. It doesn't matter where you move it, People who want to drink or do drugs will go and get them. It's not nunavik house or the location that is the problem, Educate people on drugs and alcohol, It's not an embarrassing thing that needs to be hidden, If you hide the problem it's still there. Acknowledge that you have a problem, and help people that have the problem.

  9. I myself don't like where the Nunavik House is located, plus I also agree the food sucks... up north when we're home we cook better then they do!!!. And they need to find a better building then the one that they use to house the patients and thier escorts. as for the security they need to find a recognized people who has experience in the field. same for Hampton.

  10. Very angry...

I know for a fact that Northern Quebec Module administrators have more or less found a new location for housing the Inuk when they come down to Montreal. However, this new location is in the Villeray district near Jarry park at the old chinese hospital. It is located on a very busy intersection and in an almost only French speaking neighbourhood where the demographics show that the crime rate is similar to that of the NDG area. To make things worse, the new location does not even meet today's requirements 125 beds aproximately in total when over 200 is needed and is entirely surrounded by cement and pavement (No green spaces)... So that means that we will have to move again, eventually... Why can't these idiots find a suitable place for our patients... because the administrators are making bonuses... Far from everything you know... Dorval, Angrignon mall, Walmart,... All will be a memory soon because access to these places will be a lot more expensive by taxi $50.00 ride one way or maybe a 2 hour bus and metro ride to visit family and freinds in Dorval(the most important inuit community in the area)... Is that what we want? ... I don't think so ... let the Board of directors, Inuulitsivik Hospital and the government officials know that we are not going to take this and demand swift action to prevent this accident waiting to happen... Happen...

  11. Local ndg people just prey on inuit. our good natured ways and the way we were raised makes us good people and we tend to trusts people no matter what. we have to wake up to the reality, this areas full of crack and bars, atwater is not any better mind you. I will not be staying at this facility any more, I will pay for a hotel and my own expense and I know many other that will do same. If the administrators and Nunavi'k house are not able to see whats going on it means we need new administrators over there. My wife is a good friend of Ms. Watt and she is well aware of all thats going on I am told.

Also, we need a rehab program for the growing inuit population in and around Montreal that have serious addiction problems.

HWERE IS THE ACTION, ONLY TALK
