The Montreal Native Friendship Center has been helpful over the past few years with various issues facing our community and other natives in need of help or assistance in Montreal. If you are aware of anyone that requires assistance or is in desperate need of help, please contact them. They are aware of the situation in southern NDG and Atwater and regularly have patrols in the area for natives and non-natives. They have earned the trust of the inuit community for many years now and can often get people up and going into a better direction with some kind of governemnt assistance or a warm meal when times are tough.
